Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Excelência Artigos Médicos (Brazilian company registry — CNPJ 20.979.996/0001-36) values transparency. This policy explains, in plain language, how our institutional website works and how we handle information, in accordance with the LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, the Brazilian General Data Protection Law).
1. Data Collection
Our website is an institutional showcase. Data you provide is collected only in the following specific situations (automatic collection is described in sections 2 and 3):
1.1. "Contact Us" Form
When you voluntarily fill out our contact form, we collect: Name, Email, Phone and your Message.
This data is not stored in a database — it is simply sent by email to the team responsible for handling your request.
1.2. Messaging Apps (WhatsApp)
When you click a WhatsApp button on our website, you are taken to the external app. From that moment on, data collection is no longer performed by our website and is governed by the messaging app's own privacy policy.
2. Automatic and Required Collection
For the technical operation and security of the website, we use third-party services that collect data automatically:
- Location (Google Maps): to display the map of our headquarters, we use Google's integration. When you interact with the map, Google may collect location data and cookies under its own policies.
3. Cookies and Audience Measurement
To understand how the website is used and to measure the performance of advertising campaigns, we use Google tools (Google Analytics and, when campaigns are active, Google Ads tags). These tools are only activated with your consent, requested in the cookie banner shown on your first visit.
3.1. Cookie categories
- Necessary (always active): essential for the website to work. They include a cookie that only records your choice about the other categories, for up to 180 days.
- Statistics (optional): Google Analytics cookies, valid for up to 2 years, used for aggregate audience metrics: most visited pages, traffic sources and overall site usage.
- Marketing (optional): Google advertising cookies, used to measure campaign conversions and personalize ads.
3.2. Before you consent
Until you accept the optional categories, no statistics or marketing cookies are stored in your browser. In that state, only anonymous, aggregated signals that do not identify you are sent to Google (Consent Mode), and your navigation across pages is not tracked.
3.3. How to change or withdraw your choice
You can review or withdraw your consent at any time using the floating cookie-icon button (bottom-right corner of the screen) or the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer. The withdrawal takes effect immediately and stops collection for the disabled categories.
3.4. Processing by Google and international data transfer
The data collected by these tools is handled by Google, acting as a processor, and may be processed on servers located outside Brazil, subject to the safeguards of Article 33 of the LGPD and Google's own data protection terms. Learn more in the Google Privacy Policy.
4. Purpose and Storage
Purpose: data submitted through the form is used strictly for business purposes (replying to quotes, questions or administrative contact).
Storage: the information is kept only on our corporate email servers, protected by passwords and restricted to authorized staff.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Data submitted through the form is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes — only with the technical providers essential to the website's operation (such as hosting and email services) or when required by law. Browsing data (Statistics and Marketing categories) is shared with Google only if you consent, as described in section 3.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to ask which of your data we hold (in this case, received emails) and to request the deletion of those emails from our inbox, unless they are needed to comply with a legal obligation. You can also withdraw your consent for Statistics and Marketing cookies at any time (see section 3.3).
